Hasheminejad Airport
Mashhad’s airport, southeast of the city. Metro line 1 runs toward it, but with a lot of luggage a taxi is sometimes simpler.
Reaching the city
Shahid Hasheminejad Airport is outside the central fabric. Metro line 1 runs from the Vakilabad side toward the airport and comes near the centre. Match the station name and the line’s status to that day’s signs, not to an old list.
Khajeh Abasalt is also in the south and is not the airport. With heavy luggage, a taxi is more direct than the metro. This page does not fix the fare.
