Reza Bazaar is for souvenirs under one roof, not a full food market. Khorasan saffron, saffron rock candy, barberries, nuts, Neyshabur turquoise and devotional goods concentrate here.
Turquoise sold in Mashhad usually comes from the Neyshabur mines. If you are not a specialist, do not tie an expensive purchase to one window and one sentence.
How to buy
Look for a sealed saffron pack with a producer’s name and a weight. Compare several stalls. A price gap is normal, and this guide has no figure for the day. Friday and holy days are busier.
