Koohsangi is a park and hill in southern Mashhad, not a mountain outside the city. From the top you see the urban fabric. Evening is a better time than a summer noon.

The Great Khorasan Museum sits beside the park, but the museum’s hours are not the park’s hours.

A practical note

It suits a family and a city stop. If you also want Vakilabad the same evening, start in the south and move west. Both are busy on Fridays.
