Nature
Torghabeh
A small town in the western valley. The air is cooler than the centre. Walking, cafés and the chairlift are here, not on a Mashhad street.

What Torghabeh is
Torghabeh is its own town in the valley. From central Mashhad the western road passes Golestan Dam, then Torghabeh, and Shandiz if you continue. The air is usually cooler than the shrine courts and Koohsangi, but a summer noon is still sunny.
The chairlift is a short ride up from the valley, not a large amusement park. Strong wind means a temporary stop. It is colder at the top than in the city.
With the villages
Kang and Jagharq are reached from this side. Kang’s lanes are steep, and flat city shoes are a poor choice for a long walk there. If you only want air and an easy stroll, Torghabeh itself is enough.
